People from as far north as New England took to social media to share photos and videos of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch, which took place at 7:32 p.m. ET.

"SpaceX launch seen from Maryland tonight! It looked fantastic! "According to one Twitter user. "I never expected to see the Starlink launch (Stage 2) from Virginia! That's pretty cool. Elon Musk, @SpaceX "another person tweeted

Following the launch, SpaceX tweeted, "Falcon 9 launches 52 Starlink satellites into orbit."

According to SpaceX, this was the fourth launch and landing for this Falcon 9 first stage booster, which previously launched SES-22 and now three Starlink missions.

According to FOX 35 Orlando, "SpaceX's Starlink is a constellation of networked satellites aimed at providing internet services to those who are not yet connected, as well as providing reliable and affordable internet across the globe."

Because of Tropical Storm Ian, which is expected to become a major hurricane, NASA will not launch its new moon rocket next week.

It's the third postponement in a month for the lunar-orbiting test flight with mannequins but no astronauts, a follow-up to NASA's Apollo moon-landing program half a century ago. Previous scrubs were caused by hydrogen fuel leaks and other technical issues.
